Jayden Phillips, who likes to go by his nickname “JT”, is a student-athlete Junior at Plano Senior High School in Plano, Tx.
Before moving to Plano in 2018, Jayden was a resident of Memphis, Tn. In Memphis, Jayden mainly trained for sports went to school and spent quality time with family and friends.
JT’s parents are Major and Enrii Phillips. JT is the middle child of three siblings. His older brother Kaeshawn is an aircraft mechanic in Memphis, Tn. His younger brother Dylan is a student-athlete at Plano Senior High School with Jayden.
Basketball is Jayden’s sport of choice. In Memphis, Jayden played in several AAU teams including Memphis Wildcats, Memphis Jayhawks and Memphis Kings. Before moving to Plano, Jayden was a member of the city champs Ridgeway Middle School basketball team under Coach J Stephenson.
During the summer, Jayden plays AAU basketball for YB33 Elite under Coach Joe Willis. Jayden’s high school coach is Dean Christian.
Because of JT’s love of Japanese culture, he has dreams of visiting and possibly living in Japan. Short-term plans include attending an accredited university, with the hope of majoring in international business and playing basketball at the college level.
